Finé Washington, Administrator

Finé began her Early Childhood career over twenty-nine years ago with a Child Care Referral Service and then a Nanny Service. She has a BS in Business Administration minoring in Early Childhood Education. She also developed and patented the ACE curriculum, Theme Dramatics.

Jennifer Porter, Director

Jennifer has made ACE her second home for over sixteen years. She has an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and a BS in Elementary Education. Jennifer also known as JP had a brief stint at the Chesterbrook Academy as a Princpal.

Kristine Horton, PreSchool I Teacher

This is Kristine's first year at ACE. She has a degree in Elementary Education.

Jennifer Pavlosky, PreSchool II Teacher

Jennifer is our longest standing teacher. She has made ACE her second home for over twenty-three years. Prior, she worked for Gingerbread Child Care for more than two years. Her college major is Psychology, minoring in Early Childhood Education.

Jill Lonergan, PK/K Teacher

Jill has a BS in Early Childhood Education and was employed as a Kindergarten Teacher at a Catholic school for three years. This is her fourth year at ACE

Position Openings

After-Care Teacher

After-Care Teacher for a varied preschool through school-age group Mon. - Fri. 3-6:30 pm, or 4-6:30 pm. Experience with mixed age groups a must. Ability to execute a structured and active After-Care Program. Opportunity to fill-in for full time vacationing Teachers. Additional hours and advancement are possible. Also a possibility for a f/t Summer Camp Counselor position. Minimum 2 years large group experience and 6 Early Childhood or Elementary Education college credits or TECE 1 a must. Handy Person

Handy Person is needed for a small private school in Bear to repair, build, and oversee different construction/renovation/repair jobs on our mini-campus. Hours are part- time & flexible. "Finished" Carpentry skills are a must. Plumbing and mechanical skills are helpful. Must have your own tools. 15 - 20 hours per week. Summer Camp Counselor

Summer Camp Counselor for energetic 12 week camp program in Bear. Group experience, Early Childhood &/or Elementary Education major or degree or TECE 1 & 2 or 15 credit hours in EE or ECE is a must. Implement an interactive camp program within a set core with up to 12 campers. High energy, creativity, and attention to detail is necessary. Paid training, possibility of permanent position. Training will begin asap; must be available immediately for training. Twaddler Teacher

Responsible for the care and developmental curriculum of the Twaddlers. Planning, and implementation of curriculum activities based on a core curriculum. Documentation and assessment of children's progress, communication with parents and other co-workers. Full Time hours; 7:00 am - 4:00 pm or Part Time hours; 7:00 - 1:00 pm, Paid Training provided. Department of Education certification as an ECE Teacher is a must. Paid Vacations and Holidays and other benefits.
